Another Wedding...

Corbin is only 2 months old, but he's already been to 4 weddings! Here are some pics of us at the last wedding... Mommy & Corbin's First Dance
(It was the mother-son dance)

Here are "the Ladies Men"
Uncle Seth (& Aunt Melissa) got Corbin the "Ladies Man" shirt, so he and Uncle Seth had to have their picture together and this is the first time we had a chance

Corbin met his new cousin Kassie today. She's only 3 days old! It's the first time he has met a baby that is younger than him.

Can you believe they are only 9 weeks apart!

Another Month Older

Time flies when you're having fun. It seems like it was just a couple days ago that I was posting Corbin's one month pictures. Well, here are a couple of the pics we took in his rocking chair this month.

He just happened to have the same outfit on, but we thought that we'd better take it in different clothes, too, since he obviously won't be wearing this outfit for all of his monthly pics.

He went to the doctor for his 2 month check up. He now weighs a healthy 13lb and 2oz and is 24 inches long. He got 4 shots and an oral vaccination. There was a whole lot of crying... and Corbin cried a little too. :) Seriously though, he was really brave (he fell asleep almost right afterwards and slept most of the day); Grammie went also to help mommy be brave :). I actually did better than I thought I would, but it was still hard hearing him in pain. The good news is the doctor said he is really strong and is quite the mover and shaker!

The doctor seemed impressed with his intelligence... I guess she doesn't see too many 2 month olds reading...

SO MANY PICTURES... so little time

Cory always teases me for keeping so many pictures that are similar. He thinks I should pick the best and delete the rest, but I like to keep them all because Corbin makes such different faces and I figure since their digital what does it really hurt. Here are a few of the many shots I took of him yesterday... I think you'll agree they are all worth keeping. :)

Corbin's Room

A lot of people had a part in making Corbin's room this special and unique

Our Aunt Theresa painted the Hundred Acre Woods on the wall
and Corbin's Aunt Melissa and her mom recovered the rocking chair

Corbin's Aunt Marian painted these characters on the wall just for him
(in case you are not up on the Pooh characters, the last one is Lumpy the hefalump)

Corbin's grandparents got him all the bedding for his crib
This was the first time Corbin was in his crib (this picture really makes me see how much he has grown!)

and this was just the other day while I was putting away his laundry (he enjoyed it much more this time...he could see the characters and he loved the mobile)

...if you'd like to see the rest of the room, you'll have to come over for a visit :)

NAP TIME
I know sleeping is necessary for babies to be healthy and grow, but I also think God designed it to ease people into being parents. Thanks to nap time the cleaning and cooking gets done and I still have time to scrapbook... That is unless I am staring at my precious baby boy - and sometimes taking his picture :)

This little guy can brighten any day!

I know I have said it before, but Corbin really loves baths!

Party Pooper

The other day Corbin and I were visiting with Grandpa (my dad) at his house after Grammie went to work. We were having lots of fun until Grandpa noticed his hand was wet. As it turned out Corbin had somehow managed to miss most of his diaper and deposit poo all over his shorts. Grandpa and I decided to wash Corbin off in the sink before putting on a new diaper. Grandpa was holding Corbin in a towel when he let a loud toot (let's just say it wasn't a dry one and the carpet needed cleaned afterwards). Corbin smiled and laughed for about 10 minutes. It was so funny!
