Woof-Woof Book

Corbin love dogs and so he loves this new book! Each page adds a dog (to teach counting) and each dog has a different bark. He carries the book over to us numerous times a day and says "woof-woof".

Sometimes he flips through it himself and says 'woof-woof'

Our Little Daredevil!

Corbin loves to ride his four wheeler that he got from Grandpa & Grammie. The kid is crazy, though! He rides it any and every way that he possibly can (he has even stood up and drove it and another time, he sat on it backwards and managed to push the button to drive it!)

While he is great at pushing the button to make it go, he hasn't quite figured out how to steer, so this picture is right after he ran into the frig

The funny thing is that after he runs into something, he often gets off and checks the wheels! It's like he trying to fix them so he doesn't run into anything else! He's so much like his uncle Eric!

13 Months Old

Corbin was not into taking pictures at all! And He wanted nothing to do with sitting in the rocking chair! He wanted to do anything but stay in one place! I even tried giving him animal crackers! Finally, I managed to get one cute picture, but I posted ones of a few of the other things he was trying to do instead of taking pictures. Checking out his characters on the wall

Reading

Trying to get trapped between his dresser and toy chest (and yes, he was trying to get trapped- he loves to do that in tight areas)

Playing with toys

Resting...from all the running away from me!

And finally, a good picture! Only because I was holding his toy and he hadn't reached for it yet!

Welcome Little Cousin Joey!

Our cousins Jay and Kristin had a beautiful baby boy on August 17, so he and Corbin's birthdays will be exactly one month apart. Cory and I went to visit him, but we wanted to wait for Corbin to meet him when he was home. Which means expect more picture soon, of them together! But as a request from Sarah - here is one of the pictures I have for now!

Puppy Love

Grammie & Grandpa got Corbin this puppy for his birthday because he loves their dog so much and they know we don't really want a "real" dog. He loves this little puppy. For the first couple weeks after his birthday, he drug it around with him all the time!
Kissing the puppy

He wanted to take it upstairs with him

but he was struggling to get it up that first step

but he kept trying

until he succeeded and could do one of his other favorite things - shutting the gate

My kind of Honey Pot

Winnie the Pooh may prefer actual honey in a pot, but this is more to my liking...

Corbin's new thing is getting inside of things and one day last week, he crawled inside of one of Grammie & Grandpa's baking pots!

It was pretty funny and he was pretty proud of himself... that is until he got stuck and daddy had to rescue him!

A Busy Few Days

We spent the last few days with Cory's side of the family. We went to Cedar Point, but ended up spending most of the time at Soak City since it was so hot! The first couple pictures are from right before we left home. I walked into the kitchen to find Corbin sitting on the floor with a box of doughnut holes open, crumbs all around him, with a doughnut in each hand and a bite out of both! It was hilarious!

Just after being discovered with his "hand in the doughnut box"- a pretty similar senario to being caught with his hand in the cookie jar!

Yummy Doughnuts! - See one in each hand!

I guess it was our fault for leaving them in a bag on the floor!

At least he wanted to share with mommy - and how could I be mad after he did that!

Feeding Daddy Cheez-its - this was just after we arrived at CP

Daddy, Corbin, Nana, & Tia in the wave pool

He didn't like the life jacket at all! We were told he had to wear it in the adult swim areas...

so we went to the kiddie pool

Daddy showing Corbin how the water spouts work

Pappa playing with Corbin in the water

Mommy, Corbin, and Tia waiting to eat dinner at Fridays!

Visiting with Snoopy (for all of you who know how much Corbin likes dogs, you can only imagine how entralled he was with a dog this big!)

Preston trying to figure out what all the excitement over a huge dog was!

Outside our hotel

Family picture with water drops on the lens - whoops!

Corbin loved playing in all the water - including the beach

Going to chase the seagulls

Two of his favorite things together - water & sand!

Mommy playing in the sand with Corbin

Uncle Seth & Daddy spending some relaxing time in the shade - playing the Nintendo DS

Feeding Nana goldfish

Now it's Pappa's turn to be fed! Corbin's gotten so good at feeding other people, he doesn't even need to watch!

Preston resting after a long weekend and Corbin checking him out from a safe distance! If you look close at Corbin's face, you can tell he is smiling at his cousin!
