Yesterday morning while I was feeding Corbin his cereal, I could tell he was ready for a drink (he gets kind of fussy), but everytime I tried to give him a drink he would get upset. Finally I just put his cup on his tray thinking that maybe he just wanted to play with it. Once he had it, he picked it up and took a drink and then proceeded with his meal without a problem. It seemed that he simply wanted to "do it himself"!
This isn't the first time he has used the cup himself, but it was the first time he didn't want me to help him
He often tries to get the spoon, but is not usually successful. The same day, he managed to catch it (I still had my hand on the other end so he wouldn't choke himself). It went well with the cup event.
So proud!

I'm so proud of my little guy, too. He is so wonderful that he wouldn't have to do anything special and I'd be proud of him!
It might have something to do with the great traits he inherited from his mom and dad, who also are super!
love, a very biased grammie
